Situated next to the national capital Delhi, the corporate hub of Gurgaon is home to the swanky offices of top multinational companies, hotels and malls. Yet Gurgaon, often described as India's 'millennium city' has been brought to a standstill since yesterday due to heavy rains. 

As a result of the downpour on July 28, many Gurgaon roads have been waterlogged, causing massive traffic jams and leaving commuters stranded in their vehicles for up to seven hours.
