Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

This year marks the 25th season for the Jacksonville Jaguars. To celebrate, we’re counting down 100 days from our regular season kickoff with the top 100 moments in franchise history.

Yesterday it was Mr. 21 himself — Aaron Beasley.

Today? We’re celebrating Jalen Ramsey.

53-man roster prediction: Mid-preseason edition

Reinhold Matay-USA TODAY Sports

The Jacksonville Jaguars are finished with two weeks of their preseason schedule. Week 3 is traditionally when starters get a lion’s share of the reps and Week 4 features the bottom of the roster, so we’ve seen almost all we’re going to see of the 53-man roster.

Who makes this roster and who doesn’t? Here are my predictions for who I think will be on the 53-man roster come Week 1 against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Jaguars CB Jalen Ramsey considered a generational player by NFL.com

There are few players who make an impact in the NFL like Jaguars cornerback Jalen Ramsey. Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Jalen Ramsey has been called many things over the first three years of his career in the NFL. I am not sure I have heard him called a generational player before, but the term fits for the […] Jaguars CB Jalen Ramsey considered a generational player by NFL.com - Black and Teal - Black and Teal - A Jacksonville Jaguars Fan Site - News, Blogs, Opinion and more.

How much job security does Jaguars HC Doug Marrone have?

Once again, another NFL analyst believes Jaguars head coach Doug Marrone is on the hot seat. Until the Jacksonville Jaguars start stringing together wins, the narrative is going to remain the same. Jags' Lee returns after missing '18, eyes opener

Jaguars WR Marqise Lee cleared to practice, off PUP list

Jaguars wide receiver Marqise Lee opened training camp on the PUP list due to a knee injury, but on Saturday Jacksonville announced he has been cleared to practice. This is good news, because the latest reports on Lee suggested he might not be ready to play at the start of the regular season. If Lee can get into playing shape and stays healthy, it stands to reason he could be ready for Week 1, when Jacksonville takes on the Kansas City Chiefs.  However, given that he is finally getting into...

Gardner Minshew looks better in Jaguars loss to the Eagles

Despite the loss, the Jaguars coaching staff liked when they saw from quarterback Gardner Minshew. Report: Jaguars release Tanner Lee

Tommy Gilligan-USA TODAY Sports

The Jaguars have lessened the number of potential backups to Nick Foles on Saturday and finally executed what had become an obvious move, as The Athletic’s Phillip Heilman reported that the team has released 2018 sixth-round pick, Tanner Lee.

Lee’s short stint in Jacksonville was a disappointing one to say the least, as he never showed any level of competently being able to command a NFL caliber offense and proved to be one of the worst draft...

Datone Jones: “I want to be here in Sacksonville”

Reinhold Matay-USA TODAY Sports

One of the standout players for the Jacksonville Jaguars last night was veteran defensive end Datone Jones, who had a strong showing against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Jones has bounced around the league since being a first round pick in 2013 by the Green Bay Packers, but flashed in his second preseason appearance for the team, finishing with three tackles, one tackle for a loss, and a hit on the quarterback.

Picasso Nelson, Jr. on interception: “I knew it was coming”

Douglas DeFelice-USA TODAY Sports

The most encouraging thing from the Jacksonville Jaguars’ loss to the Philadelphia Eagles had to be the young cornerbacks. Head coach Doug Marrone said as much during his postgame press conference and the key four — Breon Borders, Tre Herndon, Tae Hayes, and Picasso Nelson, Jr. — combined for eight tackles, six passes defended, and an interception.

But it was Nelson who got the interception.

Marrone: “One thing defensively I liked were the corners”

Reinhold Matay-USA TODAY Sports

The Jacksonville Jaguars had a few things to hang their hat on even in defeat to the Philadelphia Eagles last night, with the play of the young cornerbacks being the most encouraging.

Breon Borders, Tre Herndon, Tae Hayes, and Picasso Nelson, Jr. all played extensively last night and combined for eight tackles, six passes defended, and an interception. That’s pretty good considering none of these players is going to even think to break the top-three on...
