Winning meant a lot for the Jaguars, but getting historic victory made it even sweeter
The Jaguars (5-9) were able to come-from-behind to secure a 20-16 victory against the Oakland Raiders (6-8) in the Raiders’ final home game in Oakland prior to moving to Las Vegas for the 2020 season and beyond.
While the Jaguars needed the victory more than ever coming off of five-straight blowout losses, the win had special meaning. Able to say they last team to...

The rookie defensive end showcased his tenacity to secure record-tying 10th sack of his rookie season
When the Jaguars selected Josh Allen with their seventh overall selection in the 2019 NFL Draft, many expected him to provide significant pass rush opposite of Pro Bowl defensive end Yannick Ngakoue. Allen has yet to disappoint, and with his 10th sack today he etched his name in franchise — and NFL — record books.
Today, Allen became the only player in...
Gardner Minshew offered a funny quote about his first experience playing against Oakland Raiders fans. Minshew quarterbacked the Jacksonville Jaguars to a 20-16 victory over the Raiders on Sunday. After trailing 16-3 in the third quarter, they came back to win the game, taking the lead with a touchdown in the final minute. The game marked the Raiders’ last home game at the Oakland Coliseum before they move to Las Vegas, so fans were even more emotional than usual. Minshew had a funny...

The Jacksonville Jaguars just went into the Coliseum for the final Oakland Raiders home game ever and won.
They won.
They beat the Raiders.
Against all odds, against the storybook ending it looked like the NFL was gift-wrapping for the Raiders... they won.
And Oakland was not going to go softly into that good night.

—...The Oakland Raiders hoped to remain very much alive in the AFC playoff race with a win over the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday. It did not happen. After dominating throughout the entire game, Oakland allowed Jacksonville to come back for a shocking win. This pretty much ends any hope that the Raiders will be playing postseason football. It’s also not the only story from Northern California. Rather, Sunday’s game represented the final game for the Raiders in Oakland before they move to...
Gardner Minshew led the Jaguars back from a 10-point, fourth-quarter deficit to stake his claim for being the team's QB of the future.
It has been speculated for some time that the Jaguars may undergo a major organizational overhaul this offseason, and sources tell Adam Schefter of ESPN.com that the club is indeed expected to make significant changes in the new year. Many around the league expect head coach Doug Marrone to be fired, per Schefter. Others believe that executive vice president of football operations Tom Coughlin could step aside to spend more time with family. Schefter’s report did not offer any concrete...

Before the game begins, we wanted to ask the Big Cat Country team (and you!) a simple question:
“How will the Jaguars do today?” Alfie Crow (@AlfieBCC)The Jaguars’ ineptitude on the west coast continues.

Jaguars coaches and players understand the stakes they’re playing for over the next few weeks of
After being eliminated from the playoffs following the team’s 45-10 loss against the Los Angeles Chargers last week, the Jaguars will have to play for pride, and what essentially amounts to a job interview for the other 31 teams, and in the case of a regime change, those who may come after the season.

Scott Milanovich is returning to the Canadian Football League. The former CFL head coach has served as the Jacksonville Jaguars’ quarterbacks coach for the past three seasons, but he will become the Edmonton Eskimos’ new head coach after this season, according to the CFL franchise. The first-time NFL coach will stay on in his current role until season’s end. The Jaguars hired Milanovich after a five-season stint as head coach of Toronto Argonauts.
