How Will The Dolphins Respond After A Loss?

The Miami Dolphins suffered a humbling loss to their hated rival Buffalo Bills on Sunday, 48-20. It marked their first loss of the season. Going into the season four games in, I thought it would be tough to start the season because it was 3 out of 4 on the road, and I wasn’t sure how their record would be.

discomfiture (noun) - the emotional state of being made self-consciously uncomfortable

Earth, meet Dolphins.

Dolphins, meet Earth.

Week 4 between Miami and Buffalo really couldn’t have gone better for the Bills. What began as a back and forth shootout quickly gave way to Miami miscues and was a runaway almost before Liam Eichenberg even had a chance to snap the ball into the ground.

Woe is us.

Miami’s defensive staff must have never watched...

Mark Konezny-USA TODAY Sports

Welcome to the Splash Zone, the quickest way to get your day started off right. We bring you a rundown of Miami Dolphins news from the last 24 hours.

After the Miami Dolphins were knocked out of the playoffs last season, Mike McDaniel made the decision to get rid of Josh Boyer and bring in Vic Fangio as the new defensive coordinator. After the first month of the 2023 season, there is some concern with how the defense has been performing. Everything...

Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel spoke about the injury to tackle Terron Armstead and how the offensive line played against the Buffalo Bills in Week 4.

Miami Dolphins tackle Terron Armstead is once again sidelined due to injury. A dominant lineman when he is healthy, Armstead has had more than a career’s worth of injuries keep him from being able to play; in 11 seasons in the NFL, he has never played every regular season game in a year and...

Who stood out in the blowout loss to the Buffalo Bills?

The Miami Dolphins got big brothered by the Buffalo Bills on Sunday and ultimately served a thick slice of humble pie. According to quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, it’s a loss the team may have needed because certain players started to buy into the hype and didn’t show up to play. I would guess that those players are most likely on the defensive side, but I have no sources. At the end of the...

Film Review: Miami Dolphins get Humbled by Josh Allen and the Bills

The Dolphins will have a few months to get there, but they showed that they aren’t quite ready to take control of the AFC East.

The Miami Dolphins got beat up on both sides of the football and dropped their first contest of the 2023 season on the road against the Buffalo Bills. If someone had prophesized that Miami would win two of three road games and open the season 3-1, most Dolphins fans would be pleased with that start. Even so, that...

The Splash Zone 10/3/23: Dolphins defense needs some improvements

Gregory Fisher-USA TODAY Sports

Welcome to the Splash Zone, the quickest way to get your day started off right. We bring you a rundown of Miami Dolphins news from the last 24 hours.

The hope was that brining in Vic Fangio to run the defensive side of the ball would fix the issues on that side of the ball. That hasn’t happened yet and the Miami Dolphins defense is off to a really rough start to the 2023 season. The talent is there, but something is just not clicking. Perhaps players...
