The reason why I was so enamored with Georgia All-American TE Brock Bowers in Round 1 of the 2024 NFL Draft was that he would have been an instant system fit in Drew Petzing’s heavy use of 12 and 13-peronnel —- my thought was that the Cardinals could make their impressive 12 and 13 personnel even more unstoppable with Trey McBride on one side and Brock Bowers on the other.

According to Ian Rapoport, the Cardinals are releasing WR Chris Moore. Arizona is set to get WR Zay Jones back from his suspension soon and appears to be clearing a roster spot. Moore is a candidate to watch to sign back with the practice squad. Moore, 31, is a former fourth-round pick of the Ravens back in 2016.

The Cardinals announced they have officially placed G Will Hernandez on injured reserve. To take his place, Arizona promoted OT Charlie Heck from the practice squad to the active roster.
