Well, we should be celebrating a 1-0 start to the season for the Tennessee Titans tonight, but we are not. At least there is a fun game on for us to watch tonight featuring the Los Angeles Rams vs. the Detroit Lions. The Lions were one of the best stories of the entire league last year.
This game should feature a lot of points. The Lions are a 4.5-point favorite over at FanDuel. I like the Lions to cover tonight. They were so good at home last year, and you...
Williams became the first quarterback drafted with the No. 1 pick to win his first career start since David Carr in 2002. His performance, however, left the quarterback frustrated and vowing to improve.
Titans quarterback Will Levis' ill-advised attempt to throw the ball away turned into an interception return for a touchdown that gave the Bears the lead they needed to win Sunday's game.

Will Levis and the Titans offensive line were terrible today.
Look, we should not have expected for the Tennessee Titans offensive line to be fixed overnight. Sure, they signed Lloyd Cushenberry, drafted JC Latham, and hired one of the best offensive line coaches ever, but it was never all going to come together this early in the season. That proved to be true today. Will Levis was pressured on 37.5% of his dropbacks.
Now, to be fair to the offensive line,...
CHICAGO -- The Tennessee Titans (0-1) will go as far as quarterback Will Levis takes them this season. On Sunday in a Week 1 collapse against the Chicago Bears (1-0), Levis was awful. His team lost 24-17 as a result.
CHICAGO - With less than four minutes remaining in the first half, the Tennessee Titans had a commanding 17-0 lead over the Chicago Bears and seemed to be pulling away in the 2024 season opener. But thanks to some excellent special teams plays and timely defense, the Bears roared back and put up 24 unanswered points.
Levis made a costly mistake in the fourth quarter of his Tennessee Titans’ 24-17 loss to the Chicago Bears.
Jeffrey Simmons didn’t hold back on what he thought of the Chicago Bears offense following the Tennessee Titans’ 24-17 loss on Sunday. The star defensive lineman was frustrated after the Titans blew a 17-0 they built in the first half.

Not a great start to the Brian Callahan era.
Well that was a disaster. The Tennessee Titans had a 17-0 first half lead but ended up losing 24-17. The Chicago Bears did not score an offensive touchdown on the day. They got a blocked punt for a touchdown and a pick 6 on a gift from Will Levis.
Speaking of Levis, he was really bad. There were multiple times that he drifted into pressure or just didn’t step up in the pocket when a...

Tony Pollard was a steal this offseason!
The first two drives for the Tennessee Titans went three and out but after a huge stand by the defense, the offense found their rhythm. Tony Pollard capped the drive off with a 26-yard touchdown run:

Tom Pelissero of NFL Media reports that the Packers have not reached out to any veteran free agents and are not expected to pursue signing one including Ryan Tannehill.
CHICAGO - The Tennessee Titans will kick off the 2024 season at Noon CST on Sunday with a game against the Chicago Bears. Titans safety Jamal Adams has already been ruled out for the opener, and Tennessee has announced a standard practice elevation for linebacker Luke Gifford and defensive lineman James Lynch.
According to Dianna Russini, the Packers have reached out to free agent QB Ryan Tannehill. It’s a natural reaction by Green Bay after the injury to starting QB Jordan Love that will sideline him a few weeks.

It is finally here! Opening day for the 2024 Tennessee Titans. They play the Chicago Bears in one of the more interesting games on this Sunday slate. You have the number one overall pick in Caleb Williams trying to become the first #1 overall pick at quarterback to win his first game since David Carr. You also have the new look Titans led by first-time head coach Brian Callahan.
Maybe I’m overly optimistic, but I like the Titans to win this game outright....
According to Ian Rapoport, former Titans QB Ryan Tannehill is essentially waiting for the perfect opportunity to sign. A source told Rapoport that Tannehill is waiting for a call from a playoff contender in need of a quarterback with a strong offensive line and weapons, along with meeting Tannehill’s salary desires.

Will Levis is going to have a day!
The Brian Callahan era starts today when the Tennessee Titans take on the Chicago Bears. This is a new era of Titans football that is going to look entirely different than it did under Mike Vrabel. They are going to throw the ball early and often. I cannot wait to see it!

The Titans should be at full strength against the Bears.
Jeremy Fowler of ESPN is reporting that Tennessee Titans wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins is set to play on Sunday against the Chicago Bears. He cold be on a pitch count, however, depending on how much trouble his injured knee is giving him. Hopkins suffered a storm MCL back at the end of July.
Hopkins practiced on a limited basis all three days this week. Hopefully being back out there this soon...
