So Justin Graver sent out this tweet after Marcus Mariota’s 11-yard touchdown pass to Delanie Walker on Saturday night:

From 90 to 53: Updating my 53-man roster projection coming out of Titans-Patriots

The Titans have some tough decisions to make in the next two weeks.

The Titans will have to trim their roster from 90 to 53 on August 31st by 4:00 PM Eastern. With that in mind, let’s take a look at who might be in and who might be out as things stand coming out of preseason game number two.

Out: Logan Woodside

Maybe this is a bit reactionary after a rough outing from Woodside Saturday night, but I feel...

Titans sign Quart’e Sapp; Waive Nigel Harris

The Titans announced today that they have signed LB Quart’e Sapp who played at the University of Tennessee. The Titans had Sapp in during rookie mini-camp earlier this offseason but did not sign him. Sapp surprised a lot of people when he left UT after his junior year. He went undrafted.

Titans News: Reckless Endangerment

Jim Brown-USA TODAY Sports

Marcus Mariota did a flip on Saturday that took my breath away, and by that, I mean I stopped breathing because I thought that might be the end of the season already for our QB. Mike Vrabel agreed that it was not something he wants to see, but he also doesn’t want to take away Marcus’ aggressiveness.

Harold Landry hasn’t played a snap this preseason because the Titans are relying on him bigly this season.

What Titans' Marcus Mariota must do to make the leap to elite

Who is Marcus Mariota? Is he a dynamic talent capable of lifting a franchise to the next level? Or is he merely a serviceable game manager with a limited ceiling? These are the questions the Tennessee Titans must find the answers to in 2019. QBs WITH BIG QUESTIONS  Is Cowboys' Dak Prescott worth massive deal? Is Bucs' Jameis Winston a franchise QB? Mariota had a sparkling debut season in 2015, posting a passer rating of 91.5 that ranked as third best by a rookie (minimum 300 pass attempts)....

Marcus Mariota vs. Jeremy McNichols: Which End Zone Flip Was Better?

Jim Brown-USA TODAY Sports

This is the important debate we must have.

Despite the preseason loss to the Patriots (not that it matters), a lot of good happened to the Titans last night, allowing a few key players to put up impressive performances. Only so much from the preseason can hold up when the regular season comes around so even with this in mind there’s a lot to overreact to.

That said, many of you noticed not one but two end zone flips from Marcus Mariota and RB Jeremy McNichols....

Marcus Mariota in danger of losing starting job to Ryan Tannehill?

The Tennessee Titans acquired Ryan Tannehill via trade this offseason in a move many viewed as injury insurance, but it would not be a surprise if he started games at some point this season even if Marcus Mariota is healthy. In fact, that could happen as early as Week 1. While two preseason games isn’t exactly a large sample size, you could make the argument that Tannehill has outplayed Mariota. Mariota was 4-for-8 with just 24 passing yards in Tennessee’s first game against the...
