Going for the series win against the Angels
It’s time to tune in to watch the Atlanta Braves either clinch this much-needed series win, or fall once again in a winnable game against the Los Angeles Angels.
Sitting now at eight games below .500, ranking fourth in the division and just three games behind the Nationals, there seems to be a struggle getting back up to and past that halfway threshold.
Yesterday, could’ve been the...
The Atlanta Braves’ rotation took another blow this week as Spencer Schwellenbach hit the IL with a fractured elbow. The 25-year-old righty, who was emerging as an All-Star candidate, will be shut down from throwing for the next four weeks, with a potential return to the mound not expected until September.

Offense has woken up…but will they arrive in today’s finale?
That’s right.
As the title stated, there are no new changes in today’s Atlanta Braves lineup from yesterday’s.

Our friends over at FanGraphs recently took a look at the top defensive teams in all of baseball right now and as it turns out, the Braves are at least excelling in one department.
The All-Star break is right around the corner and to let you know just how “well” things are going for the Atlanta Braves here in 2025, Ivan The Great is out here writing Braves-related Greek comedies and two high-quality starting pitchers are...
Dale Earnhardt Jr. had an interesting question about the Dawsonville Poll Room’s si-reen after Chase Elliott won the NASCAR Cup Series race in Atlanta this past weekend.
Outside of Raisel Iglesias, the Braves relief core has mostly come along very nicely this season, and with Daysbel Hernandez returning last night, it could be one of the few positive aspects of the club moving forward.

After the array of news that seemed to dog-pile on the team over the past few days, a clutch win to end game two in the series, and a three-game losing streak at home was a definite must.
The bottom of the sixth is when yesterday’s game took a turn in the right direction for the Atlanta Braves after a seven-run inning. Now, the question is... can they finish the job?
The good news is, the offense seemed to step up after...

Turns out, it’s a Greek comedy. Sort of.
This is not your usual Battery Power fare. This is not your usual “post from Ivan” fare, either. It does concern the Atlanta Braves but not in a way that you’re used to seeing from this particular website.
Some of you will hate this. Most of you, probably. You’ll be like, “Why did I click on this? The season is already bad enough, and now I’ve wasted 20 seconds of my summer...
With now four of the Braves top starters on the IL for the foreseeable future and the offense performing like a bottom-five lineup, Atlanta’s bullpen feels like the club’s biggest strength, something nobody could have predicted at the beginning of the season.

While it wasn’t his most impressive start this season, Jackson Stephens continued his impressive run on the mound for Gwinnett on Wednesday — and it was much needed.

The starters were announced last night for the 2025 MLB All-Star Game. One surprising player named a starter was Atlanta Braves Right Fielder Ronald Acuna Jr.
Spencer Schwellenbach going down with a fractured elbow feels like one too many injuries for the Braves to overcome. The club is now down its 1-4 starters from Opening Day, and it feels like they don’t really have anywhere else to turn for a reliable starting pitcher.

It’s no secret that the 2025 season has been a tough one for the Atlanta Braves. From a sluggish start, to key injuries, to underperforming stars, even the optimist in me has started to waver on this team’s playoff hopes.
With the news dropping yesterday of Spencer Schwellenbach heading to the 15-day IL with a fractured elbow, the Braves’ rotation is now completely decimated.

The hits just keep on coming, except offensively, where they’ve been replaced with attempts to draw walks
It’s the day before a holiday, so that’s kind of like a Friday? Anyway, no real discussion of this prompt. Just, have at it. The season has sucked, you know why it’s sucked, but... what’s the worst part of it sucking?
The history of the Braves makes them difficult to quit. Atlanta has been the class of the National League for over three decades. They’ve been to the postseason for seven straight years, winning six division titles and a World Series.
Like the entire Braves team in 2025, Nacho Alvarez has not been able to catch a break. Currently the highest ranked position prospect in the system, Alvarez began the season with a wrist injury that forced him to miss three months.
