Did you forget what a win felt like? It’s okay if you did. This is a safe space. We’re all friends here. Well, hodson and IwB aren’t. But everyone else is. When the Rangers took an early lead I was happy, but wary; I felt reluctant to allow myself to feel too much joy in such an advantage, given the circumstances and the play of late. It was Gerson Garabito on the mound, making his major league debut, having not even...Texas Rangers Shortstop Corey Seager is having a week to remember. Seager has homered a whopping six times in his last six ballgames. He homered twice on Sunday afternoon as the Rangers defeated the Twins on the road, 6-2.
Corey Seager homered twice to help the Texas Rangers end a six-game losing streak with a 6-2 win against the Minnesota Twins in the finale of their three-game series on Sunday afternoon in Minneapolis.

The Legend of Garabito
The Texas Rangers scored six runs while the Minnesota Twins scored two runs.
Long live Gerson Garabito!
Since way back on May 8 when the Rangers scored 12 runs to still only barely eke out a hellacious 12-11 win in the second game of a scheduled doubleheader against the Athletics at Oakland Coliseum, Texas had not scored more than four runs in any of the games that followed, spanning 14 consecutive games.
As you might have...

Sigh. When it rains, it pours. Murphy’s Law. All that. Another quality start gone to waste, this one by Michael Lorenzen. Lorenzen walked in a run in the first inning and it looked like things would go to shit early on and make the game a thing of misery for a full nine innings. Then he didn’t allow any other runs, and and made it through six innings with just 90 pitches, and we all thought great, maybe he can get...Nick Wosika-USA TODAY Sports

The Texas Rangers scored three runs but the Minnesota Twins scored five runs.
The Rangers scored a bountiful three runs today which looked like it would be enough but they forgot that they only have two relievers and one of them allowed a three run home run after being pressed into duty earlier than Texas would have liked because today’s starter got injured.
You know, just 2024 Texas Rangers things.
