Coming into the 2024 NFL offseason, the New York Jets had very clear goals to accomplish with their roster. For the second straight season, their offense torpedoed any chances the team had to be competitive and make a run at the postseason.

The Jets traded with the Carolina Panthers. In exchange for the top pick in the third round, 65th overall. In exchange, the Jets gave up their own third round pick, 72nd overall, and the fifth round pick acquired last night in the trade with the Minnesota Vikings, 157th overall.
