The Rangers have struck a deal to hire Shiraz Rehman to an assistant general manager post. The Cubs Insider blog reported the news late Monday night; Joel Sherman of the New York Post hears the same (Twitter link). Rehman had been with the Cubs for seven seasons, the last five of those coming in an AGM capacity.
