Former Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Alex Smith may not be ready for the start of the 2019 season, but he could return before the end of it, according to Washington Redskins senior vice president of player personnel Doug Williams, who recently spoke to SiriusXM NFL Radio. The Chiefs traded Smith to the Redskins last offseason.
