Yesterday, I took a look at pitchers the Royals could take in the Rule 5 draft, today it’s the hitters. It seems rather unlikely the Royals will select a hitter when the draft takes place at 4 p.m. CT. The last hitter they selected in the Rule 5 draft was outfielder Endy Chavez in 2000.
