Bernard Arnault surpassed Elon Musk as the world's richest person on Dec. 7, according to Forbes, though the No. 1 and 2 rankings continue to fluctuate. Arnault controls the massive luxury conglomerate LVMH Moët Hennessy - Louis Vuitton.
