Amazon reportedly was willing to offer McVay a five-year contract worth up to $100 million last winter to convince him to leave the sidelines for the broadcast booth. It was then said in August that the 36-year-old "wasn't ready to leave his job" and had "received a raise" from the Rams following their Super Bowl LVI win over the Cincinnati Bengals in February.
