Nintendo's first clip from 'The Super Mario Bros. Movie' shows off the Mushroom Kingdom

The 2022 Video Game Awards had a lot of shocking and unexpected reveals, including the first clip of The Super Mario Bros. Movie, which is set to be released April 7, 2023. The clip was presented on stage by cast member Keegan-Michael Key, who offered a very in-depth and necessary discussion on whether Toad's mushroom cap is a hat or part of his head — the answer is yes, it's part of his head.
