Moonwalkers are billed as the ‘worlds’s fastest shoe.’ Is that a good thing?

These part-shoe, part-roller skate devices want to be the future of micro-mobility.

For a split second, I feel like a cool ghost hovering above the sidewalk surface. It’s exhilarating and frightening at once. But I’m not using magic, or even gliding on rollerblades. I’m walking on wheels.
