Manchester United will receive £2.92 million for having players at the World Cup

FIFA will compensate clubs for sending their players to the World Cup.  £169 million will be distributed by FIFA in its Club Benefits Programme, which will equate to around £8,100 for each day the clubs’ players have been at the tournament.
