Amir Albazi keeps rolling.
In a flyweight main card bout at UFC Fight Night 216, Albazi (16-1 MMA, 4-0 UFC) finished newcomer Alessandro Costa (12-3 MMA, 0-1 UFC) at the 2:13 mark of Round 3. The event took place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.
A wicked right uppercut from Albazi floored Costa. Two follow up punches put the lights out completely and a third punch (luckily for Albazi) missed. Referee Keith Peterson dove in and called off the fight and saved Costa.
