In a poll run by Elon Musk, 57.5% of respondents voted in favor of his stepping down as Twitter's CEO. "I will abide by the results of this poll," Twitter owner Musk had tweeted. 17 million people voted in the poll, with around 10 million saying he should go.

Twitter users have voted in favor of owner Elon Musk giving up his leadership of the site.
