Natural gas sinks after EU energy ministers agree to cap prices as Russia's war in Ukraine throttles markets

European and US natural gas prices fell on Monday after EU energy ministers agreed to a price cap.   The cap will kick in if prices stay above 180 euros per megawatt hour for three consecutive days.  "Today's agreement clearly signals that Europe is not prepared to pay any price for gas and that it is able to act united to ensure its energy security."
