Many US companies are shifting some of their supply chains back to the US. It's in response to the supply chains disruptions companies have faced in recent years. It could mean more jobs, and Americans may ultimately be forced to pay more for some products as a result.

In the years ahead, American shoppers may be able to buy more goods made in the USA — but that may mean paying more for them.
