How to message someone on TikTok

There are two different ways you can message someone on TikTok.

TikTok has its own instant messaging service built in, complete with an Inbox to store your conversations.  To share a video with a custom message, tap the Share icon on a video's page in your video feed. You can also go directly to your Inbox page and write new messages or reply to an existing conversation.
