Wall Street saw job cuts and hiring freezes in 2022, and is expecting conditions to worsen in 2023. Banker bonuses are expected to fall as much as 45% as M&A and IPO activity slows on Wall Street. A survey of 1,096 bankers saw 72% of respondents say they will consider resigning if their bonus is cut.
