Steelers designate Ahkello Witherspoon to return from IR

Witherspoon returns to practice and has 21 days to be activated to the 53-man roster.

With only two regular season games remaining and the slim chance of qualifying for the postseason, the Steelers have designated cornerback Ahkello Witherspoon to return from the Reserve/Injured List (IR). Witherspoon returns to practice on Wednesday and Steelers will have 21 days to activate him to the 53-man roster should their season continue to that time.
