New Year’s Day’s kickoff at Gillette Stadium is set for 1 p.m. ET.

The New England Patriots have placed rookie cornerback Jack Jones on injured reserve in advance of New Year’s Day against the Miami Dolphins.

The move ends the season for the No. 121 overall pick by way of USC and Arizona State.
