NASA says it has approached Elon Musk's SpaceX about a potential emergency mission to bring back crew from the ISS.

NASA has considered SpaceX for a backup plan to return the ISS crew to Earth amid the Soyuz leak. NASA and Russia's space agency are investigating the leak, which began in December. Two cosmonauts and one astronaut were scheduled to return home in March in the Soyuz capsule.
