Wagner Group founder Yevgeny Prigozhin addresses former convicts as he releases them from serving in his mercenary army, according to Russian state-controlled media.

The Wagner Group's founder released 24 prisoners from mercenary service, Russian media reported. Video shows Yevgeny Prigozhin telling them not to rape or do drugs as they reintegrate into society. The mercenary army recruited numerous convicts to fight in Ukraine, with the promise of a pardon.
