Falcons defensive coordinator Dean Pees is retiring

Pees came out of retirement and coached the defense in Atlanta for two years.

The Falcons lured Dean Pees out of retirement to try to build a new, better foundation on defense. It’s not yet clear whether the foundation that the team has put together will lead to better days down the line, but what is clear that Pees will not be around to see what’s next.
