Mike Jackson cut from UFC, wants gym fight with Jake Shields

Now that he’s out of the UFC, Mike Jackson wants to settle the score with Jake Shields, whom he had an altercation with weeks ago.

As of Monday, welterweight Mike Jackson is no longer part of the UFC roster. The 37-year-old fighter, who is known for his (overturned) win over C.M. Punk, confirmed the news with MMA Fighting.
