The Los Angeles Angels brought in Brett Phillips to be their fourth outfielder. The agreement was of the one-year variety, closed out at $1.2 million. The Angels’ front office guaranteed Phillips he would be the team’s fourth outfielder even though they have former first overall pick Mickey Moniak and top prospect Jo Adell.
