The Rays fell to the Yankees 5-3 on Friday to fall to 11-10 on the season.

Starter Tyler Alexander recorded 5 1?3 shutout innings allowing just two hits while striking out four in the loss

Outfielder Richie Palacios also had a premiere performance, recording two hits, two runs, and an RBI on the day. This included a solo home run to break the scoreless tie and put the Rays up 1-0.
