Jays Roster Moves: Urena Up, Walker Down

The Jays have officially announced the signings of Jose Urena and Spencer Turnbull. They have moved Max Scherzer and Erik Swanson to the 60-day IL.

Urena has been added to the Blue Jays roster, and Josh Walker has been optioned for Buffalo.

Turnbull was optioned to the Florida Complex League to get into pitching shape. I’m not sure what his ramp-up time will be, but at some point, he’ll be moving to Buffalo. Then, it depends on whether/when the team feels...
