I found myself sitting at the counter of Michael’s Diner at Shaker Square after the last game against the Dodgers. After such a glorious come-from-behind win, I needed a place to breathe and come back down to earth.

I always liked coming to this particular diner. It somehow reminded me of that famous Edward Hopper painting, “Nighthawks”....
