The Mets had a lead and were getting a good start out of Clay Holmes, and then the wheels fell off. When the smoke settled, the Mets lost their fourth straight game 7-2 to the Brewers.

The Brewers got off to an early lead when Sal Frelick led off the game with a solo home run. After that, Holmes settled down and, while he was walking more batters than anyone would’ve liked (including loading the bases in the fifth), he was getting out of jams...
