The Oakland A’s rolled into town to take on the Mets at Citi Field. In a wild, back-and-forth game Michael Conforto proved to be the difference-maker, playing like the All-Star he is. Conforto collected two home runs and four RBIs as the Mets came away with a 7-5 victory to open their series with the Athletics.
