The Sunday struggles continue as A’s top Mets in finale

Despite what was arguably one of the better starts of Rafael Montero’s season, the Athletics defeated the Mets 3-2. Montero pitched seven innings, striking out four and walking one, while allowing home runs to Marcus Semien, Khris Davis, and Matt Chapman. Montero also collected his first major league hit - a single in the fifth inning.
