We knew it would happen eventually. Today, Mickey Callaway was officially announced as the manager of the New York Mets in a press conference with his new team.

Callaway, who served as the Cleveland Indians pitching coach for the last five seasons, started by thanking the Indians organization. Specifically, he wanted to thank the pitchers who he helped mold into one of the best groups in baseball.
