It’s come to this? Pecota is gentler than the bookies

Bovada just sent out their baseball win totals for the season, and man, it is a grisly picture for the Chicago White Sox.

Only 68 wins. Sure, Chicago finishes comfortably ahead of the Miami Marlins (64.5 wins) for the race the very bottom, but man, that’s grim. Where is the confidence, worldwide bettors?

Even the Detroit Tigers are projected to be a half-game ahead of the Chisox, according to all those bleary eyes. Perhaps...
