The 49ers defense took a step forward in 2017, and a big haul could push it that much further forward.

The San Francisco 49ers have a lot of ways they can go in the coming free agency and draft process. They have holes on both sides of the roster, so it is hard to predict exactly which way they might go. More than likely they mix and match both sides of the ball in free agency and the draft, but should one side get a little more focus in the draft in terms of replenishing the youth?
