The Los Angeles Rams were far better against the pass than they were against the run last season. While they weren’t dominant in either department, statistics show they were at least good defending opponents’ aerial attacks.
Despite ranking fifth in passer rating allowed and sixth in interceptions, the Rams felt they needed to go out and improve their secondary. They did so by adding Marcus Peters and Aqib Talib, while also parting ways with Trumaine Johnson and Kayvon Webster.
